UC San Diego's Zimride social network for ride sharing has continued to grow and recently reached 3,000 cumulative registered users. Also, in a recent survey during Winter Quarter 2011, more than 25% of 53,000+ daily commuters carpool to our campus. Get your friends to join Zimride and we all win!

Zimride is the private rideshare community for UCSD. Zimride requires a UCSD PID / email and password to gain access.
UCSD Zimride helps you offer or request rides for commutes, road trips, and popular events. If you have a car, split costs by offering rides. If you don’t have a car, find rides where you need to go.
When adding a ride, you can decide if you would like to share your ride with:
1) Only UC San Diego
2) UC San Diego + "Trusted Partners"
3) All Zimride networks (public)
If you decide to share a ride with someone in the UCSD network, we suggest you also ask who else will be joining the ride. If you only wish to share a ride with a member of the UCSD network, please confirm that the ride poster has not shared his or her ride with someone from the public network, or any place that can be viewed outside the UCSD network (i.e. bulletin boards, craigslist).
